Explanations...

I feel i should just explain 'the traumas of a simple girls life [life through the eyes of a drama queen].

When people see the word trauma they instantly think of awful things and wonder what happened. But the trauma I'm talking about is when you cant find the right top to go with your jeans, or the right jumper to go with your leggings, the trauma of stubbing your toe when your really cold and it hurts a million times more.
I'm talking about the everyday trauma everyone goes through.

The drama queen bit is just me. I love drama and being centre of attention.
I like to think that when boring things happen to me i can over exaggerate and make a huge scene about it! :]

Simple really.
So now thats all out of the way and hopefully a little bit clearer ill tell you about my latest trauma!
Yesterday i went to see Craig Turner my tattooist. Now then i should explain that i LOVE tattoos and getting tattooed, i have had a lot of work done already and have plenty more planned :]
The latest work is a phoenix down my right side, i have my reasons for it.. ones that i don't have to explain.
- And here is the amazing piece of art!

Its still red and a little bit swollen but phoenix is actually finished. Yesterday was the 4th and final sitting. It was also the most painfull! Because the tattoo is still red you cant really see all the highlights but i wanted to get a pic up as soon as! But i will put better ones up when its fully healed!
Total session time on this piece was just a little over 6 hours.
I am thinking about some kind of background that would have smoke and a little bit of colour in it to make the phoenix really stand out. I don't think ill be having that done for a while yet though!

I also thought it would be really good idea to get the top of my ear tattooed.. ones of those ideas that sound really good at the time and then turn out to be abit nasty when its happening! Id been thinking about it earlier on in the day and thinking about what i would have done. Id decided on a cherry blossom but thought that there wouldn't be enough space at the top of my ear for one.. but low and behold there was a tiny little picture of one :] So my mind was set.

I must say having so many tattoos i have hardened to the pain a fair amount and this one was no different, but i think its always the aftermath that hurts the most. My whole of the upper part of my ear is now a lovely shade of purple.. I don't know if you can see from this picture! [Again apologies for the pic my good camera is out of battery]
